About Ethan & the Bean

Established in 2019, we are a special non-profit coffee shop located in Little Falls and Morristown New Jersey. Our goals are simple and from the heart: to train and employ a significant number of persons with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. We value and respect all who work for us and all who walk through our doors. We currently run a fully functioning coffee shop where we serve our daily customers as well as grind, package and label our coffee to be shipped anywhere in the United States!

This is such a hidden gem in Morristown and every time I visit here, I ensure that I get coffee from my fav spot. The coffee is the best, be it an espresso drink or a single origin pour over, you can’t get it wrong either way. My go-to drink cappuccino (with no sweeteners) is the perfect blend of espresso and the milk ratio, and such a smooth finish of the overall drink. The ambience is amazing and the owner/ baristas are super friendly, and you see folks working here. Will continue to stop by, every time I visit this place.

I worked in coffee for a decade and have spent a lot of time thinking about what makes a coffee shop “good” and Ethan & the Bean hits every mark :) The space is very peaceful, they have drinks for both those who like to taste plain espresso-based drinks and those who like flavored drinks, and all the baristas are well-trained. They also offer decaf espresso and the milk is always steamed perfectly. The best part is how kind and welcoming everyone is there. I love this place and will keep coming back.

Recently moved to Morristown and have been scouring the town to find my go to comfort spot for a good latte. After trying many spots, I came into Ethan & the bean on my 4th stop. Finally found a spot that the flavoring didn't seem artificial and the coffee shop had enough seating and quiet atmosphere in case I wanted to get some work done as well. Staff is very friendly as well! Only drawback is the quality of the drink is a bit inconsistent at times. Sometimes its incredible and sometimes its just alright.

‘26: same great coffee shop! Elegantly simple ‘25: Food, coffees, service and atmosphere are a 5stars! Clean and spacious area in-between. Al fresco tables during summer. Aesthetically pleasing interior. Restroom is clean and smells good! Kid friendly! High chair and koala care seen. Highly recommended! See images for further reference.

This coffee shop has a very high-end vibe. It's very spacious and has plenty of sitting space. I would give full marks for the ambiance, but if we talk about the coffee, then I would say my lātte was not what I expect from an exceptional lātte. It was good but lacked the depth of coffee flavor.
